Opening over the weekend, Livingston Street Market displayed 5400 sq. feet of painting and signs from the Moca ‘s Art in the Streets show, painted by Todd James and Steven Powers.  With The First Street Market exhibiting in Japan in 2000 with Barry Mcgee, the installation has continued to evolve and has been shown in several locations internationally.  In response to the Brooklyn Museum’s decision to not host Moca’s Art in the Streets show on the east coast, Powers and James decided to throw their part of the exhibition on their own.
