Boston based artist, Gary Stubelick, utilizes sparklers, incandescent tungsten and highway flares to create light sculptures. Stubelick uses these varying sources of light to create different amounts of volume and texture, with unpredictable outcomes. He has worked with time-lapsed film since 1973.
