JR mural on the High Line in New York

Street Art // Monday, 21 May 2012

Working on his continuous Inside Out Project wheatpaste photographer, JR, over the weekend acquired some prime real estate on the High Line in New York City.  A popular tourist attraction, the High Line was once an abandoned section of the New York Central Railroad that was recycled into an urban park spawning huge real estate development in the area.  The artist used the image of a Native American boy squeezing his eyes closed for this specific location.
