Cats have been praised and held in high regard dating back thousand of years. Egyptians mummied cats to honor deities and the Ashanti people of Ghana were known to occasionally execute any man who killed a feline. In the tradition of honoring one of human’s greatest companions, a group of artists started the appropriately titled Cat Cult.
Based out of Los Angeles, Cat Cult utilizes a variety of mediums including illustration, printmaking, stencils, wheat paste, photography, painting, sewing, and graphic design.
