ARYZ in Næstved's Train Station, DenmarkStreet Art // Monday, 08 Apr 2013
This could be a big week of ARYZ news, as the January 2013 cover artist is set to open a new solo show in San Francisco at FIFTY24SF Gallery this April 19. First off, our friend in Denmark, Henrik Haven (all the photos are from him), set over a few images of wood panels that ARYZ painted last summer that have now be installed at the Næstved Station.
Before his large mural for the Galore Urban Art Festival last summer (in the gallery above), the Spanish artist travelled an hour away from Copenhagen to reach Næstved, a town that lies on the island of Zealand. Here he painted a piece on a mural (opposite to the old post office close to Næstved Station, see the gallery above with the leaning character) which is a part of Næstved Youth School of Art and decoration project ”Næstved Art City”. While he was in the town he also painted some cool pieces on large MDF wood panels and these works are now on display at the local waiting room at Næstved Station.
