While traveling through the Altiplano region of Bolivia, artists Thomas Rousset and Raphaël Verona photographed the region’s spiritual healers, medicine men, and witch doctors. In the photographic series titled “Waska Tatay”, the duo depict a culture steeped in tradition while also showing the modern technologies that are advancing around them. The images show the intricate and breathtaking traditional costumes used by the healers during their rituals. A book of the work is available through IDPURE.
