If you haven’t already caught the news, Larry Clark - cult filmmaker and photographer, has decided to sell photographs dating from 1992-2010 for £100 a piece. The images will mainly include images printed in pharmacies or one hour photo developers, all unique and sized 4x6 or 5x7. Larry Clarke is quoted as saying that the sale is for: “all the kids that come to my shows in their thousands and could never afford 10 to 15 thousand dollars for a print. This is a pay back to all the skate rats and collectors who would like a souvenir so I can die happy.”
From the time when Clarke was making films such as: Kids (1995), Bully (2001), Ken Park (2002) and Wassup Rockers (2005) you might want to make a mark in your diary.
The sale will take place from the July 1st-6th at the Simon Lee Gallery, London: first-come, first-served.
