Until May 18, a collection of work by photographer David Hilliard will be on display at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa, Florida. Through the use to triptych and diptych images paired with selective focus, Hilliard explores the multiple layers of everyday life. By guiding the viewer’s eye through each dimension of the scene, he references how our personal interactions and memory affect us. “I continually aspire to represent the spaces we inhabit, relationships we create, and the objects with which we surround ourselves. I hope the messages the photographs deliver speak to the personal as well as the universal experience,” explains Hilliard.
