Apolo Cacho is a painter and graphic artist from Mexico City. He is the author of El Taco Psicotrópico, a graphic novel compiling tales inspired by Mexico City’s disenchantment and scarcity. Independently released through photocopies and low-cost graphic reproduction systems, the novel is dedicated to contemporary life style brutality and failure. He’s part of Ediciones Joc Doc, a publishing cooperative focused on producing and distributing graphics and comic books by young underground and art-brut artists. We are admiring his new work.
