We have spent nearly 20 years spotlighting various NYC street photographers, from Bruce Davidson, Ricky Powell to Martha Cooper, and now there is something comprehensive to link it all together. Cheryl Dunn herself has directed the documentary and sure fire must-view, Everybody Street, a compelling look at NYC's most famed street photoographers. The city has practically invented the term, so let's watch a trailer to catch up on the subject... this is a great example of Kickstarter done well.
From the producers:
"Everybody Street" illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists.
