We've been dropping previews all week on the upcoming LA Art Show (see our coverage of Littletopia and Gil Bruvel's new wood works), and today we have look at the general overview of the fair coming to Los Angeles Convention Center from January 23—27, 2019. With the backdrop of Los Angeles emerging as one of America's most essential art metropolis', the LA Art Show is getting bigger and bigger every January.

As we noted in our coverage this week, the LA Art Show is dear to the Juxtapoz staff, as our late founder Greg Escalante was an essential player in bringing the Littletopia portion of the fair to life. Aside from that "zone" at the fair, the LA Art Show has "More than 200,000 square feet of exhibition space is committed to today’s prominent galleries. These domestic and international galleries, beyond their booths, curate special exhibits that are at the forefront of the burgeoning contemporary art movement. The fair offers an extraordinary array of works and experiences in specialized sections." You can see the wide-range of international players coming to the LA Art Show here

Stay tuned to our coverage during the fair.
