This one has been buzzworthy for awhile now, as Joaquin Phoenix was going to star in the origin story of the Joker for a new DC film by director Todd Phillips. It was going to be hard to present the character in the shadow of Heath Ledger's Academy Award winning character of the Joker, but Phillips and Phoenix definitely tap into the dark side in this trailer. The Joker film hits theaters on October 4, and the buzz will surely continue to grow.
