Early Days by Paul McCartneyMusic // Friday, 25 Jul 2014
Forming a band usually starts with a friend ready to jam, ready to mess around to find the right sounds that mesh, but the members don’t always mesh. Through the ups and downs, a musical camaraderie forms and a band blossoms. Paul McCartney expresses this in Early Days, describing his bond with John Lennon all the while hoping to inspire all young musicians in the spirit of music and expression. Directed by Vincent Haycock, the story shows a couple of kids in the 1950s based out of Mississippi and starting a band, as McCartney sings and reminisces of old times with old friends. A beautiful video and timeless piece.
