I really enjoy your work, Gris Grimly - esque...In "Staying Alive" I like how the hands look as if they are also dancing.

thanks. The detail on that tree took me for-e-ver. The photo doesn't really do it justice, or even make particularly clear that it isn't a solid piece. One of these day's i'll finally invest in a swanky camera  Grin

thanks Smiley

and nope. I found it in an alley by my house. I have this "game" i like to play with myself of finding oldschool frames and such in alleys or thrift stores, and then having to plot the perfect something to put in it. Sorta like working backwards. Sorta. Kinda. A little... yeah Smiley

but yeah. The Ostrich Boy was weirdly the first thing to pop into my head the second i picked the frame up (and dusted a couple french fries off of it)

I really enjoy the first set of paintings, minus the zombie one.
Especially "Gran'ma Tentacles-2010." It has a weird Juxtaposition (a feeling of belonging with loneliness).

I love that yellow ochre color for the background.

lol...she's like an old widowed Cinderella.

"An Awkward Assemblage" is also nice. The boldness of it is captivating. The wrinkle texture adds so much character. I like the way that the red's and blue's contrast each other...adds that whole mysterious wtf kinda thing.
