Hi Yuliya,

Thanks for your submission- great photo! We'd love to post this image as today's Pic of the Day, but need images 600 pixels wide. Do you have this image at that size?

Thanks!

3  Art / Pic of the Day / Reminder: Pic of the Day is for Photos on: January 20, 2010, 12:17:06 PM
Hello All,

Thanks for checking out our Pic of the Day section. Just a quick reminder (as we have been getting more and more painted, digital, etc submissions) that this particular section is for PHOTOS only.

Work submitted here should be an original photo for our online Pic of the Day section, which we rotate out daily.

Images need to be 600 pixels wide in order for us to consider it for main page publishing. Also, please include a photo title and your (artist) name.

Thanks!

Hi Travis,

Great work! We would like to post this image as our Pic of the Day; however its dimensions are too small. Do you have this image at 600 pixels wide?

9  Art / Pic of the Day / Great first Set! on: November 25, 2009, 03:26:13 PM
Hello All,

Thanks so much for all the great submissions! We have posted James Walker’s image, Brenna Taking A Bath for today. Great moment. It's funny how a domesticated pet can look so fierce given a good camera angle and quick eye.

Keep em coming guys! Oh, and feel free top branch out from animal pics...for one reason or another, almost every photo submitted has been of an animal. (not that there's anything wrong with animals, it's just variety is great too!)

Once again, we're off to a great start. Happy Turkey (or tofurkey) Day!

12  Art / Reader Art / New Reader Artist Featured on juxtapoz.com: Matt Cipov on: November 02, 2009, 05:14:43 PM

We like Matt's clean lines and attention to detail, while keeping it real by creating his piece on a found library card (remember when they had those?)

15  Art / Street Art / Obama Joker Wheatpastes: New Social Commentary? on: August 03, 2009, 12:32:59 PM

There's a new take on the Obama Art front, this one advertising a drastically different viewpoint of our current Commander in Chief.

As in life, for every (artistic) action, you'll also find reaction. The image has been littering LA and Bev Hills, not to mention an appearance in April's Bedlam magazine. All the while its creator continues to remain under wraps. Who are you? And how do you really feel?

Thoughts?
