LevelFive Performance Workshop, Organized by Brody Condon with Bjarke Pedersen and Tobias Wrigstad

Southern Exposure hosts a four hour live role-playing workshop for those interested in participating in the upcoming LevelFive performance. The workshop is designed to train participants in the specific live game mechanics that have been designed for the LevelFive event, and assist in general character creation and preparation. Topics included will be performative "Volume Systems" to increase or decrease personal intensity, techniques for developing internally generated conflict and maintaining immersion, as well as discussions concerning player/character "Bleed". The workshop will end with a small series of short "Processes", or examples of exercises that will be used in the LevelFive event.

Artist Brody Condon transforms Southern Exposure's space into his base of operations from September 8 - 13, 2010 as he prepares for LevelFive as part of ZERO1 Biennial at the San Jose Convention Center from September 16 - 18.
