"The Way of Flow" exhibition showcases artwork that is conceptually inspired by the flow of wind, water, air or breath and what this movement means to life, thought and emotion.  The group show features artist Patrick Gannon, a mixed media collage artist from Japan, and also includes artists: Chrystal Chan, Dominique Fung, Jade Klara, Jason Graham, Jeannie Lynn Paske, John Park, Josh Hart, LeeAnne Hale, Leontine Greenberg and Mary Syring, Tina Darling, Tony Venegas & L Croskey.

Featured Artist: Patrick Gannon's artwork is a collage of fantastical imagery brought to life in layers of cut paper and wood. His stylized compositions are created in his studio in Tokyo, using beautifully textured handmade papers that he has collected from all over the world. His wondrous characters and mystic landscapes are meticulously cut into paper and then layered with an amazing technical craftsmanship. Bold and whimsical, pensive and optimistic, Patrick’s artwork combines influences from his life in urban Japan and his upbringing on a farm in New Jersey, where he was surrounded by animals and the natural world.

Fascinated from an early age by mythology and fables created to explain the world around us, Patrick was inspired to study literature as an undergrad at Providence College, Rhode Island. He went on to receive an MFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Patrick’s artwork can be seen internationally in books, magazines and newspapers. He has exhibited in galleries across the United States and Tokyo.
