Cannon Dill and Brett Flanigan opened a duo show entitled "White Forest Noise" at Lequivive Gallery in Oakland, CA this month. The artists say of their concept: "White Forest Noise is the quiet hum that becomes a deafening howl once you acknowledge it. It heightens the senses while relaxing the mind. It is the feeling of fear, but finding comfort within it. It is the slow walk through blurred trees in the night and the crackling leaves beneath your feet that opens the mind to exploring the creative unknown. For this exhibition, Brett Flanigan and Cannon Dill interpret their experiences around the idea of abstracted memories and sounds. The resulting images run the gamut from intuitively structured forms to highly refined figurative illustrations."
Closing Reception at LeQuiVive Gallery on June 6th, 8:00PM.
An exclusive print will be released at the reception.
