Viktor Pivovarov's 1960s Children's Illustrations

Illustration // Monday, 10 Feb 2014

Russian conceptualist artist of the 1960s, Viktor Pivovarov was known for his work reflecting the Soviet lifestyle but he has also illustrated over fifty children's books. His psychedelic children's works appeal to the child inside all of us. The children's books do not appear to have been published in the states at any time, but we can still enjoy these captivating images individually. Viktor moved to Prague in 1982 and continues to live there today.
