Niv Tishbi is a visual artist (illustrator and photographer) from Israel and works on the line between Tel Aviv - Berlin. Niv graduated in 2012 from the Visual communication department of 'Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem' (BDes). Niv received 4 excellence prizes for each year of his studies. He also completed a semester in 'Universität der Künste Berlin' as an exchange student.
Niv worked in the last year as a freelance illustrator for magazines (mostly Israel and European) and is currently working on an illustrated book. He finds himself interested in different aspects of illustration and mostly in traditional printmaking techniques. He presented in a number of group exhibitions during the past year. The most recent - "Temperament" - a group exhibition in 'Hanina Contemporary Art' gallery in Tel Aviv, Israel (June 2013). Recently, he received a distinguished merit from '3X3', the magazine of contemporary illustration.
