Check out this scathingly witty review on the 1944 Walt Disney animated feature, "The Three Caballeros," written by former New Yorker drama critic and humorist Wolcott Gibbs in 1945. In Gibbs' glib analysis, he describes the feature as a "mixture of atrocious taste, bogus mysticism, and authentic fantasy." In other words, entertainment gold.
