Talita HoffmannIllustration // Wednesday, 21 Dec 2011
Talita Hoffmann's work is inspired by music, nature and the graceful dance of reality and the violent nonsense of everyday life. Her work focuses on animals, plants, tools, rural architecture, musical instruments, objects of daily use, situations of conflict, death, healing, fortune and mishap. She works in a way that those images flow, almost unconsciously, bringing with them strong dreamlike qualities, without predetermined limits - causing some discomfort to the viewer while holding the attention, just like in a dream or a nightmare. She currently lives and works in São Paulo - Brazil.
