John Bohl is a Baltimore-based artist with a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Drawing inspiration from psychedelic and naive/folk art, Bohl's works consist of sequences of objects and forms divorced from their normal contexts and re-combined to create unexpected and ambiguous new meanings.
