Michiel Van Den Berg: 30 Isometric Renders in 30 DaysIllustration // Monday, 21 Jul 2014
For his latest project, Dutch artist and designer Michiel Van Den Berg created a self-imposed challenge: 30 Isometric Renders in 30 Days. The challenge was valuable to Michiel because it allowed him to get ideas out of his "mental sketchbook" and onto the screen. The isometric technique means that Michiel is visually representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions in a technical/engineering format. Michiel says he loves the way this style and lighting of these illustrations come out and enjoys "keeping his motor running" so to speak.
