Llewellyn Mejia's Peyote Party

Illustration // Friday, 08 Jun 2012
Llewellyn Mejia is 'a stylistic illustrator', skilled in hand-drawn, and computer generated illustration. In her younger years her family traveled back and forth between Mexico and the Southwestern United States. As a result she has developed a style of patterned/detailed linework and stylistically rendered characters. Her work is usually a commentary of my day-to-day life and people she encounters and a lot of herwork has to do with symbols present in the occult, from tarot cards to ouija boards... 'My work bridges a gap to the otherworldy.'
