Llew Mejia: The Hand of Glory

Illustration // Friday, 17 Jan 2014

By day Llew Mejia is a textile/fashion designer, and by night he illustrates everything from scientific charts based on the natural world, to print/pattern, as well as more occult themed artwork. His interests include travel, textiles, fashion, folk art, wallpaper, and all types of candy. Featured is his illustration depicting the power of the Hand of Glory. A dessicated magical hand acquired from a hung criminal, which is rumored to grant the holder the power to render living things motionless. This would give the criminal an upper hand when committing crimes without going bump in the night. Part of a series of illustrations from the zine SUPR NATR, available for order soon.
