John Shaw's Layered CityscapesIllustration // Thursday, 13 Feb 2014
Canadian artist John Shaw explores the process of deconstruction and assemblage. His work is created through a process of paint, collage, ink and texture applications. John says he interprets and reworks layers until they are harmoniously integrated with one another. This series of cityscape paintings are outlined with a black Staedtler permanent marker. John's works successfully communicate the feeling of movement in a city.
