Minneapolis based artist Joe Sinness' weapon of choice is the Prismacolor colored pencil of our youth. Joe creates his strange, vivid and almost shrine-like still lifes by first photographing his compositions before picking up a pencil. His intriguing illustrations include lifelike renderings of found sequins, fruit, photographs and assorted knick knacks. The items compiled in Joe's works remind us of distant memories we may have had ourselves. Take a look at his impressive body of work here.
