Jean Baptiste's Dynamic AnimalsIllustration // Wednesday, 10 Apr 2013
Jean Baptiste has an astounding skill for texture, color and character design. He wanted to become a makeup artist as a child, and spent a great deal of time drawing and sculpting monsters, to his parent's delight. He oriented himself toward animation as he got older and studied illustration at the Emile Cohl in Lyon, then 2D animation at the great Gobelins school in Paris. Baptiste started working video games as a 3D animator but quickly left for other projects and eventually was rescued by the cartoon saloon in Ireland, where he works to this day.
