British illustrator and toy designer, and the March 2010 cover artist of Juxtapoz, James Jarvis, just landed a major commercial job of adorning and designing new cans with his signature characters for Coca-Cola's 125th anniversary. In total, Jarvis did six different cans, with no release date or location of release announced of yet.
According to HighSnobiety, "The project was curated by Kevin Poon of CLOT and Communion W and the cans seem to be out in Hong Kong."
It's excited to us at Juxtapoz to see Jarvis doing such a large identity project for a recongnizable brand across the world. Jarvis is a major talent of creating simplicity, which is obviously not an easy thing to do. The cans will be a nice collector's item.
