In the 80s and 90s, Lisa Frank made a killing with her neon drawings of hearts, music notes, unicorns, teddy bears and stars plastered on school and craft supplies. Little girls went nutzo for the designs. Lesser known was the artist behind the company. Last year Urban Outfitters (UO) re-issued some of the brand’s now vintage notebooks and sticker sets.
