Commissioned for the High Road music school, Russian graphic designer and illustrator Eugène Maskaeff created a series of stippling portraits of Rock icons. 'The main connections between the characters are that they are legendary musicians and that they all are dressed in clothes of different epochs. The whole series was solely created on A4 size pastel paper, followed by computer processing after scanning. In my works I used the following materials: ink, isograph and technical pen. This is my first experience in creating illustrations using such technique.'
