Annita Maslov’s dark art is some of the best I know of. It’s pen and ink on paper but commanded in such a defined and lovely darkness that it captivates and soothes you whilst placing a spell on you. That spell lurks at the base of your skull, at the start of your spine and your visions are slightly more haunted forever afterwards.
It might be one of the best spells to ever be cast to be honest. Seeing things like Maslov doesn’t seem so bad. She finds the beauty in areas that have retreated deeper into the shadows. Someone has to chase them and bring them forth. And I thank her for doing so.
