Continuing our coverage from the fifth annual Living Walls Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, we catch up on a number of artist’s working on their murals, with some ambitious participants taking on a second wall. Over the last few days many of the artists have been working directly in the stifling sun with no shade, but each have found ways to combat the heat (Most successfully being Fintan Magee regularly running through playground sprinklers!). There was an insightful and entertaining panel talk between RJ Rushmore (Vandalog), Monica Campana (Living Walls) and Austin McManus (Juxapoz), following an outdoor movie viewing in the Historic Fourth Ward Park the next night. Don’t miss out tonight on the lectures at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights tonight and tomorrow’s main event at The Goat Farm Arts Center. Be sure to check back for more updates!
