Lewy arrested by NYPDGraffiti // Wednesday, 05 Dec 2012
According to several news sources, the wanted graffiti writer, Lewy has been detained. A few months back we posted about Lewy’s throwups on the Brooklyn Bridge that brought him unwanted attention as high up as the New York police commissioner, Ray Kelly. Apparently the suspect was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti, criminal trespass and possession of a graffiti instrument after a nearly five-month investigation by NYPD Transit Bureau Sgt. Kevin Cooper and Nino Navarra, police said. He was also wanted for the questioning of the theft of a $100,000 Kaws/Calvin Klein poster that you may remember was stolen from, Mark Echo. The city claims that the bridge clean u cost $8000 to repair; someone got paid a pretty penny to sandblast that for a couple hours. Did they get the right guy, who knows?
