Karim Hamid and the Female Figure

Erotica // Friday, 14 Jun 2013
1

Karim Hamid's artwork is based on the visual dialogue with the classic representation of the female figure and the male gaze throughout art history. The goal of his paintings is to distort and exaggerate society's emphasis on the idealized form. These paintings are visionary and provocative documents of an important social commentary. Hamid works and lives in Rhode Island.
