Where The Wild Things Are: New Trailer

The story follows Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, as he creates his own world--a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.

The beauty of this book and subsequent film lies in its disguised simplicity. It's a basic children's book, but the story is so filled with hope and empowerment- something we think anyone can relate to, or at least appreciate.

When the creature Aaron says to Max, “This is gonna be a place where only the things you want to happen, will happen" and Max replies, "We can totally build a place like that,” we feel a bit of our idealistic selves smile and embrace such a notion.

“This is all yours, you’re the owner of this world.” True dat, Aaron. True dat.

Where The Wild Things Are is set to be released from Warner Bros on October 16th, 2009.
