Wes Anderson Tribute: ‘Bad Dads’ Comes to SFJuxtapoz // Wednesday, 27 Oct 2010
Beloved filmmaker Wes Anderson is the source of inspiration behind the Bad Dads art show tribute. This group exhibit opens this Saturday with a special Halloween themed party.
The name of the show alludes to the fact that nearly every Wes Anderson character has family issues, notably father issues. Each artist has picked a different character to reinterpret, making for a fun walk through some of our favorite films from the past few years.
Ken Keirns' Margot Tenenbaum
Becky Dreistadt’s Agnes of Fantastic Mr. Fox
Dave Greco ‘s Royal Tenenbaums
Rich Pellegrino's Darjeeling Limited

The show will debut with a special Halloween party on Saturday, October 30th at San Francisco’s new art space, LoPo Gallery.
The will offer limited edition prints, a full bar (making this event 21+ only), and a set by SF's DJ Theory.
Original artwork and prints will be made available after the opening through the Spoke Art online.
