The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University has organized a survey of Nairobi-born, New York-based multidisciplinary artist Wangechi Mutu. Opening March 21, Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey presents more than 50 works from her most iconic collages to sketchbooks revealing her creative process and inspirations. The exhibition will also feature Mutu's first-ever animated video, created in collaboration with Santigold. Wangechi was featured in our Nov 2008 Contemporary African Art issue.
