Vintage Cameras to Night Lights by Jason HullJuxtapoz // Tuesday, 22 Nov 2011
Everyone loves a vintage camera these days it seems. We even use things like Hipstamatic on the iPhone 4 (hardly vintage) to make our digital photos look 30 years old. Jason Hull, who has worked at Pixar, has created a series of taking vintage cameras from the 1950s and '60s and repurposed them to be night lights.
Hull's statement reads: "I’m not modifying cameras if they are in pristine condition or if they’re rare, I’d rather they stay usable as cameras in those cases. The ones I’ve chosen are lightweight plastic, produced in huge numbers and easily found for sale at flea markets/ garage sales/ ebay."
