Turning Potholes Into Art by Claudia Ficca and Davide LucianoJuxtapoz // Wednesday, 08 Jun 2011
You ever driven in San Francisco? Lots and lots of potholes. Apparently, there are potholes everywhere. Canadian duo, Claudia Ficca and Davide Luciano, have created this series of art-directed shots at potholes in Los Angeles, NYC, and Montreal.
DesignBoom wrote this nice explanation of the work: "The set explores the urban flaw as a playground, creating a multitude of uses out of them including a swimming pool, an oil tank to fry doughnuts, a bath for pedicures, a giant plate of spaghetti, and more."
