For an afternoon fine art moment, Tom Sachs' newest exhibition, Drawings From 2000—2010, will be closing at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in Paris this Saturday, March 19. Thaddaeus Ropac has had a bunch of great exhibitions over the past few months, including Erwin Wurm, Gilbert & George, and Cory Arcangel, and Sachs is another one of major notice.
As the Ropac notes, "For his fifth solo show in the Paris gallery, Tom Sachs has selected an iconic group of drawings from the last decade covering the central themes of his oeuvre related to American society and culture. Works on paper have always been an integral and important part of Toms Sachs's practice and this is the first time an entire exhibition is dedicated to this relevant and direct means of communication."
If you happen to be in Paris, and lucky if you are, go check this one out.
