Thrown to the Wind: 36 Feet of Garbage by Beijing's Wang Zhiyuan

Beijing-based artist, Wang Zhiyuan, creates towering tornado sculptures from hundreds of plastic containers discarded as trash. The artist’s intent is to create something visually appealing while highlighting the prevalence of litter and pollution in his hometown of Beijing. This particular outdoor piece is entitled Thrown to the Wind and is 36-feet high. (via)
