Theo Jansen's Strandbeest

Juxtapoz // Thursday, 28 Apr 2011

This is a few years old now, and we have posted about the artist back in 2007 (!), but Theo Jansen's Strandbeest mobile skeleton sculpture, that relies on wind power to move, is still a vastly interesting project. Jansen remarks, "I make skeletons that able to walk on wind so they don't have to eat."

Jansen uses yellow tubes, attached together, to construct the skeleton.
