The Work of Tim Noble and Sue WebsterJuxtapoz // Saturday, 15 Sep 2012
Tim Noble and Sue Webster are a dynamic duo based out of the UK. Using everyday things including rubbish, they've taken the idea of assemblages to a new level of transformative art.
Throughout their fourteen year career, they've played with the idea of how humans perceive abstract images and define them with meaning. Mixing strategies of modern sculpture and the attitude of punk to make art from anti-art, Tim and Sue have created a symbiotic relationship that is derived from sex, violence, fusion of culture, high culture and anti-culture. The result is surprising and powerful as it redefines how abstract forms can transform into figurative ones.
