Currently standing in San Martin Square in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to mark the city's naming as 2011 World Book Capital, Argentinian artist Marta Minujin has created a 25-metre tower made of over 30,000 books.
The artist remarked that in 100 years time, people will say "there was a Tower of Babel in Argentina ... and it didn't need translation because art needs no translation." A beautiful tower to behold, especially in these detailed photographs from the Guardian.
