This tumblr full of clever memes is exactly what it sounds like: a mash-up of scenes from Wes Anderson movies and Kanye West lyrics (and at times, lines from Anderson's movies adapted to Kanye's music videos). Both Anderson and West have an affinity for the finer things in life: Kanye with his exorbitant music video productions and album artwork by big-name fine artists like George Condo, and Anderson with his longstanding obsession with excessively tasteful and wealthy families in crisis. The result is funny, appropriate, and leaves us thinking, why hasn't this happened sooner? The clash of Anderson's melodramatic plot lines and well-spoken characters with Kanye's crude and self-critical lyrics is a perfect recipe for some irony and humor. Enjoy.
