"The Simpsons" Honor Japanese animator/director, Hayao Miyazaki

Crazy to think the venerable television mainstay "The Simpsons" is 25 years old, even though most of us on staff can't think of a time when the show wasn't part of global pop culture (pretty sure a few people on this staff actually never lived in a world of Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Maggie, but we digress) In a recent episode of the show, the creators made a homage to Studio Ghibli director Hayao Miyazaki, the man behind beloved animation films like Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Totoro. We can't wait to see what other homages are in store...
