One of the great Japanese pop and psychedelic artists of the postwar era, we love the mind of Keiichi Tanaami. The artist has worked in graphic design, fine art, poster art, and video, but it is these paintings that have us excited to share with you this morning. After visiting NYC in the 1960s and meeting Andy Warhol, Tanaami challenged himself to create boundary-less work. He did album covers for the likes of The Monkees and Jefferson Airplane, and played a role in anti-war movements around the world with his "No More War" poster design in 1968.
