The Photoreal Works of Yigal OzeriJuxtapoz // Monday, 24 Sep 2012
New York-based artist Yigal Ozeri has continued to take hyper-realism to the next level. It's hard to believe that his work isn’t an actual photograph. Capturing solar flares, dreamy light, and contrasting color tones, he’s shown just how far he’s willing to go to capture a moment.
The first step in Ozeri’s process is to photograph random people in their natural environments. Once he’s back in the studio, he runs the images through photoshop and alters them as a guide. From there, he paints with oil on large canvases to complete his grandiose master pieces.
